| First Cabin Hotel, accommodation occupying building floor at best locations in Japan |
I wrote the word hostel in parenthesis because First Cabin is a new concept of accommodation in Japan that offers private bed in a private room while sharing other facilities such as bathroom, shower and laundry room. It is not capsule hotel because the private space is way more spacious than the typical capsule space and it feels like an actual private hotel room without private bathroom. The hostel set up is separated by gender so female travelers would also feel comfortable in the area dedicated for only female guests.

RECOMMENDATION
I would recommend First Cabin Hotel (including their Tokyo locations) for:
- solo travelers who want to save money on accommodation.
- travelers who like to be in the most bustling and convenient locations.
- travelers who like a sense of modern decor and new concept for accommodation.
First Cabin hotel chain might not be suitable for:
- travelers who prefer having private shower and bathroom.
SPECIAL NOTE
The concepts of being centrally located, convenient, and clean apply all locations of First Cabin Hotel in Japan. Upon review, both Akihabara and Tsukiji First Cabin Hotels are highly recommended due to their excellent locations in the Tokyo area.
